Vinterjazz: Pelle von Bülow/Ronja Andersson Quartet

Look forward to a concert where young, distinctive voices from the Danish jazz scene come together in a lyrical, bold, and curious universe.

Here, the audience is invited into a musical landscape filled with warm sounds, poetic melodies, and a constant search for new colors and expressions.

Guitarist Pelle von Bülow is already one of the most sought-after musicians on the Copenhagen jazz scene. With his distinctive sound, tonal presence, and remarkable musicality, he has made his mark as a central figure in contemporary Danish jazz. He received the Erik Moseholm Prize in 2022 and the Tivoli Jazz Prize in 2020—clear evidence of his artistic weight and originality.

At his side is Ronja Rose Andersson, one of the most promising talents in Danish jazz. As both a singer and saxophonist, she combines technical strength, mature musicality, and a natural extroverted presence that has already earned her national and international attention. Ronja has received awards with the group MUSViT and was most recently nominated for Musician of the Year at DMA Jazz 2025.

For this concert, Pelle and Ronja have assembled a strong team: Jonas Due (OTOOTO) – trumpet and Sigrid Vahlin (SE) – double bass

Together, the quartet creates an open and beautiful soundscape – youthful, bold and full of musical poetry. A concert for anyone looking for a winter evening of immersion, presence and the next big voices in jazz.
